The mouse met an owl and the owl wanted to eat him. The little creature responded him that he had a meeting with the Gruffalo,  a creature with knobbly knees, turned-out toes and a poisonous wart on his nose. The owl got scared after the mouse  told him the gruffalo's favourite food was owl ice cream.

A snake saw the mouse after that and invited him to a feast . The mouse refused and he said he would meet a gruffalo : a creature with orange eyes, a black tongue and purple prickles on his back whose favourite food was scrambled snake. Of couse, the snake slid away.
